Getting Started
Navigate to your server's dashboard
Select the "welcome" plugin. If it's not enabled, you'll need to enable it.
Follow the instructions below.



Setting up Autoroles
Autoroles are roles that are automatically given to new members when they join.

Select a role (or multiple if you have premium 😉) from the drop-down menu labeled "Give new members a role"
Click save!

Waiting for Membership Screening
Enabling this will make Circle wait for the joining user to pass Membership Screening before giving them the autorole.

Select the "wait to assign roles until members pass Discord's membership screening" box.
Click save.

Welcoming new members

Select the box that's labeled "Send a welcome message when someone joins" to reveal the settings for this feature.
Select a channel from the drop-down "Welcome message channel". This is where the message you specify next will appear.
Write a welcoming message to your newest members. You can include the fancy variables below to make your message more personal.

Saying goodbye to leaving members

Select the box that's labeled "Send a goodbye message when someone leaves" to reveal the settings for this feature.
Select a channel from the drop-down "Goodbye message channel". This is where the message you specify next will appear.
Write a message to let your members know that someone left. You can include the variables below to make your message more personal.

Welcome Variables

{user}: Pings the member.
Example: @Aaaaaron

{username}: Specifies the name of the member.
Example: Aaaaaron

{discriminator}: Specifies the discriminator of the member.
Example: 5115

{tag}: Specifies the member's tag.
Example: Aaaaaron#5115

{server}: Specifies the server's name.
Example: Circle Support

{members}: Specifies the server's member count.
Example: 123
